The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued U.S. Patent No. 7,451,013 to Surfware, Inc. for Engagement Milling, thereby providing legal protection for Surfware's TrueMill® technology, the leader in high-performance milling and machining

The April 2009 issue of Modern Machine Shop ran a feature shop floor that uses TrueMill. "This shop was ready to capitalize on a heavy machine gun sight mount that could
save lives in Afghanistan and Iraq, but it's older VMC had difficulty producing enough models to bring the prototype to production. Tool paths generated by CAM developer Surfcam's
TrueMill technology enabled the light-duty machine to efficiently hog through the quantities of steel required to make the mounts and win large

 Surfware is proud to announce the opening of
the SURFCAM Demo and Training Center in Camarillo, California.
The center will allow us to conduct research on TrueMill's advanced capabilities and demonstrate the powerful functionality of SURFCAM. Live webcasting of TrueMill cutting titanium and other hard and exotic metals will be featured in webinars. This facility will allow customers to send their most difficult parts and observe TrueMill's cost-saving, scientific
advances in milling.
