will introduce its patented RapidRough™ technology at WESTEC 2006. Exclusively available in SURFCAM Velocity II, RapidRough is a single-step
advanced roughing through pre-finishing operation that radically reduces both programming and machining times in complex multi-surface parts.
RapidRough optimizes 3D material removal by automatically synchronizing multiple tools and incorporating
Surfware’s patented TrueMill™ technology. TrueMill is the only toolpath generator that intelligently controls the tool’s engagement with
the material to dynamically manage tool load and enable the use of extremely aggressive machining parameters.
